Immediate opening for a System Administrator (Linux).

Job Description :

▪ Relevant experience in Linux Operating systems like CentOS or Redhat & Ubuntu.

▪ Able to secure configure of servers (Server Hardening) like NFS, Samba, Apache etc.

▪ Writing system level firewall rules and experience in selinux.

▪ Experience in bash shell scripting and text processing commands.

▪ Take complete control of the network requirements for participating in the overall Somnetics' network layout (Security is the key here).

▪ Plan, guide and administer network & connectivity with other officer (again, Security is the key here).

▪ Take active part in connectivity with other clients' network.

▪ Help the various Eng sub-teams here with Network/Cloud set up (like Somnetics' Web Page etc.

▪ In the coming days, participate in estimating/deploying/managing high-performance machines earmarked for AI-related work, Investigate, Explore, Estimate cost of operations of various Cloud Services as and when needed.

▪ Help team to set up their Build/Deploy/Staging set up.

▪ Familiarization with monitoring tools like Nagios , Zabbix etc. with AWS / Git / Bitbucket / JIRA will be considered as added advantage.
