Senior Java Software Engineer

Somnetics is looking for an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer. Join: Immediate or within 30 days. CTC will be as per market standards.
Key Requirements :
▪ Strong work experience in Java and intermediate in Node.js (Express.js or NestJS)
▪ Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Skilled in responsive and cross-browser design
▪ Experienced in RESTful API development and MVC architecture
▪ Strong knowledge of MySQL, including design, indexing, transactions, and performance tuning
▪ Follows secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization
▪ Experienced with Git and Linux environments
▪ Basic knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
▪ Familiarity with jQuery, React, or Vue is a plus
Responsibilities :
▪ Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Node.js
▪ Build responsive and standards-compliant user interfaces
▪ Design and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
▪ Design and optimize MySQL databases and queries
▪ Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
▪ Integrate third-party APIs and external systems
▪ Participate in code reviews and documentation
▪ Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and Product teams
▪ Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
